Clients must meet The Adventure Company, Australia guide at the Mountain View Hotel at approximately 9am.
Wilderness Canoeing allows its customers to discover the tropical rainforest that surrounds Mulgrave River in fun two-person canoes.
The Mulgrave River flows through awesome forest with towering strangler figs, rare ferns, jungle vine and a great variety of wildlife.
The pace of the river is perfect for allowing you to relax and see beautiful birds such as kookaburras, kingfishers, parrots, herons and orioles.
Perhaps tortoises, eels, lizards, wallabies or a host of magnificently coloured butterflies may be seen.
At particular areas, the river runs a little faster and some small rapids are present, which will undoubtedly add to the excitement of your day.
The guides on each tour give detailed lectures on safety, paddling, and manoeuvring your canoe, allowing beginners to feel more confident and relaxed on the tour.
Morning tea, lunch and all equipment is included in the tour cost.
